Rightchoice Day Home Agency partners with Alberta Children and Family Services to ensure full compliance with the Family Day Home Standards Manual for Alberta.
Our Agency welcomes applications from individuals interested in becoming approved Day Home Providers.
We guide each applicant through the process — from the initial interview and home setup to verifying qualifications and conducting safety inspections — ensuring all licensing requirements are met.
Once approved, Rightchoice Providers can begin welcoming families into their care. We continue to provide support through both scheduled and unannounced visits, professional development opportunities, and regular communication.
Our monthly newsletter keeps providers informed about seasonal activities, child care updates, and licensing standards, creating a strong sense of community and collaboration.
Rightchoice Day home agency follow a philosophy of learning through play. We express that philosophy through many concepts, ideologies and curricula. They are a daily guidance for our practice. We see philosophy and curriculum as two separate pieces.
